Procedures
After completing her associate degree in nursing at Athens Technical College, Susan began her career as a registered nurse. She then graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. In addition, she holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham where she completed her training as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.
Prior to joining the practice, Susan served as a registered nurse for the general surgery unit at Piedmont Athens Regional hospital. She is board certified in medical-surgical nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds a certification in basic life support from the American Heart Association.
