Areas of Interest

Dr. Michael Fry is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology. After receiving his medical degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

For nearly 40 years, Dr. Fry was part of Gastroenterology Associates of Pensacola where he served as physician partner, director of the endoscopy center, and later became a GI hospitalist for both Sacred Heart Hospital and Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. He also served as chairman of the department of medicine and director of gastroenterology laboratory for Baptist Hospital.

Most recently, Dr. Fry worked as a gastroenterologist at the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin, where he assisted in the training of medical students and residents in endoscopy and clinical gastroenterology.

In 2019, Dr. Fry relocated to Georgia and joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates.
