Mariana is a cum laude graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. She received a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, FL, graduating with highest honor. While there, she was inducted into Pi Alpha, the national honor society for physician assistants.

Prior to joining Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, Mariana served as a physician assistant at North Atlanta Primary Care. In addition, she also served as a certified nursing assistant at AnMed Health and National Healthcare Rehabilitation Center, both located in Anderson, SC.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Georgia Academy of Physician Assistants (GAPA).

Mariana joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2022.
