Biography
Katie is a cum laude graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa, where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology. She received her master’s degree in physician assistant medicine at the University of Lynchburg School of PA Medicine in Virginia.
Katie previously served as a community learning services provide for The ARC of the Central Chesapeake Region and as a home healthcare specialist for Regent Healthcare, both in Owings, Maryland. She has also served as a group leader for elementary and middle school students at The Autism Project in Owings.
Katie holds certifications in basic and advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants.
Katie joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2021.
