Dr. Chokshi joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 1996 and is a specialist in all aspects of digestive disease, particularly pancreaticobiliary endoscopy. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Chokshi continued his studies at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, receiving his medical degree in 1986. He completed his internship and residency in the Department of Medicine at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. In 1989, Dr. Chokshi joined the laboratory of David H. Alpers at Washington University as a research associate in the Department of Medicine. He later completed a clinical fellowship in gastroenterology at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Chokshi was subsequently appointed interventional endoscopist in the section of pancreaticobiliary endoscopy and remained at the University until 1996. For the fifth consecutive year, he was named to Atlanta magazine's 'Top Doctors' guide in gastroenterology by Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd.

Dr. Chokshi is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
