Biography
Dr. Nadelson graduated summa cum laude from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology. During his undergraduate studies, he was inducted into both the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. He received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. While there, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
After completing both an internship and residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center-Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Nadelson completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
In addition to presenting nationally, Dr. Nadelson has also been published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of General Internal Medicine and Digestive Diseases and Sciences.
Throughout his education and medical training, Dr. Nadelson has been passionate about advocacy and volunteer work for his community. He was the co-founder of “Cures for Kids” at the College of Holy Cross which supported children diagnosed with cancer. He also volunteered his time providing warm meals to underserved members of the Worcester community, as well as tutoring and mentoring local high school students.
In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Nadelson also has a special interest in quality improvement initiatives within the field of gastroenterology.
Dr. Nadelson joined Gastroenterology Associates of Athens in 2020.
