Richard Friedman, MD

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Friedman received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He completed his internship and residency at New York Medical College in New York City and his fellowship in gastroenterology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.

Dr. Friedman has been in private practice in Atlanta since 1979 and joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2004. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Medical Association of Georgia, the Medical Association of Atlanta, and the American Gastroenterology Association.

In addition, he serves as a clinical instructor in physical diagnosis for Emory University Hospitals.
