Chad M. Sisk, DO, FACG

Dr. Sisk served in the U.S. Army for 11 years. He is a graduate of North Georgia College in Dahlonega, where he received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.  He received his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.

While on active duty, Dr. Sisk completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. During this time, he served on a tour working as flight surgeon for the United Service Association for Healthcare in Vicenza, Italy and transitioned to chief flight surgeon at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. He then completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Brooke Army Medical Center. Shortly after, he served as chief of gastroenterology service at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia. Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Sisk was in private practice in LaGrange, Georgia, and most recently, a gastroenterologist with the WellStar Medical Group. 

In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Sisk has a special interest in the latest advancements in treating liver disease and hepatitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and inflammatory bowel disease. He has been published in leading journals, including Digestive Diseases and Sciences, American Journal of Gastroenterology, and Gastroenterology. He is also a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, the Troup County Medical Society, and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2019.
