Nicole Richards, PA-C


Nicole is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta where she received a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and behavioral biology. In addition, she holds a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. During that time, she served as an interprofessional healthcare fellow, as well as volunteered at a local student-run clinic for the homeless. 

More recently, Nicole served as vice president for the University of South Alabama’s Institute for Healthcare Improvement chapter where she received a national certificate in patient safety and quality care. She has previously served as a nurse technician at Emory University Midtown Hospital and as a research assistant for the surgical oncology lab at Vanderbilt University. 

Nicole is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds certifications in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support from the American Heart Association. She is a member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Nicole joined Gastroenterology Associates of Athens in 2016.
