Jim Barnett holds a B.S. from the Physician Assistant Program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. In addition, he holds a B.A. from Newberry College, Newberry, SC, and attended Winthrop College in Rock Hill, SC.
Prior to joining Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 1987, he worked at Grady Memorial Hospital and the Kaufman Clinic. He is a member of the Georgia Association of Physicians Assistants and the American Academy of Physicians Assistants.
