Amanda Dover, MSN, RN, FNP-C


After receiving an associates’ degree in nursing from Dalton State College, Amanda Dover completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. She went on to receive a master’s degree in nursing from Kennesaw State University through the primary care nurse practitioner program.

Amanda began her clinical career as a medical technician at Royal Oaks Assisted Living in Dalton. In 2004, she became a registered nurse where she worked in cardiac, endoscopy, and intensive care units at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Most recently, Amanda worked as a registered nurse for the Endoscopy Center of Middle Georgia in Macon.  She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has over 10 years of experience as an endoscopy nurse. In addition, she holds certifications in basic and advanced cardiac life support. 

Amanda joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2017.
