Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant needed in the John's Creek Office, full-time. Suwanee, GA 30024

Responsible for assisting physicians and management with all clinical, clerical, and organizational tasks revolving around patient care.  Manages patient charts and assumes responsibility for resolving patient requests including test results, prescription refills, and general healthcare questions. *Fluent Spanish is required. 

Staff Nurse - RN needed in the Panola Endoscopy Center, full-time. Lithonia, GA. 30058

Provides individualized and specialized nursing care to patients within the endoscopy center in accordance with physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, legal aspects of current nurse practice in the State of Georgia and the Center’s policies and procedures.  Is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating the nursing care given to patients. Will have contact with the patient in each phase of his experience. Must be self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.  Maybe required to travel to a sister center.

Medical Laboratory Technologist needed in the Pathology Lab, Full-time. Marietta, GA 30060

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Work with physicians, doctors, and other medical staff in diagnosing patients’ conditions 
  • Enter details of tests conducted in the lab in a computer system for record keeping and future reference
  • Interpret lab test results to the receiver; explain lab codes and terms which ordinary people wouldn’t normally understand to them
  • Create, set, and monitor testing machines during procedures to prevent inaccuracy in results due to malfunctioning equipment
  • Send out test results to the right person, such as the patient, doctor, or a researcher
  • Ensure the safety of lab results; keep them away from third parties who have no business with them to ensure confidentiality and privacy
  • Ensure judicious use of laboratory materials by applying the right quantities of substances to avoid wastage
  • Analyze several results from lab tests to arrive at a comprehensive diagnosis to obtain a direction for treatment
  • Maintains diagnostic viability of all specimens received, and ensures correct labeling of all materials.
  • Sterilize laboratory testing tools before and after use to avoid the spread of diseases
  • Keep record of laboratory supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels; 
  • Keep work environment clean; dispose wastes properly 
  • Practice safety measures by obeying safety rules and manufacturer’s guidelines, and fire prevention guidelines to avoid explosions and fire accidents
  • Maintains equipment in proper working order and obtains maintenance as necessary. 
  • Identifies problems and brings to the attention of more senior laboratory staff. Troubleshoots with supervision. 
  • Participates in continuing education/in-service training sessions.
  • Maintains established department policies, procedures and objectives, including the areas of quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. 
  • Follows all CLIA and other regulatory guidelines 
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed.

Responsible for the organization and supervision of all administrative and clinical office activities for a physician practice with multiple locations. Manages daily office operations and delegates work assignments to staff and front office/clinical leads. Coordinates and oversees daily office schedules, patient flow and customer service for the entire physician office.

 

Transporter needed in the Northern Crescent Endoscopy Center, Full-time. Atlanta, GA. 30342

Under direct supervision, performs various routine and accommodative tasks for patients receiving any procedure in the scope of GI Lab services, including adolescents, adult and geriatric patients. Performs tasks in accordance with established policies, standard nursing practices, and special instructions from professional nursing personnel.  Contributes to the overall function of the unit by assisting with clerical duties, housekeeping chores, and nursing errands as designated. Assists with front office tasks as directed by the Endoscopy Center Manager.

Clinical Research Coordinator needed in the St. Joseph's Office, Full-time. Atlanta, GA 30342

Responsible for assisting Primary Investigator with all clinical and organizational tasks for clinical research projects and protocols.  Responsible  for enrolling patients in protocols as per inclusion/exclusion criteria, conducting follow-up visits, drawing, processing, and shipping specimens, entering study data, reporting safety events, and following all GCP guidelines. Responsible for all study coordinator protocol tasks assigned by Primary Investigator.

Front Office Representative needed in the Emory Office, Full-time. Atlanta, GA 30308
