Southeastern Clinical Research

Southeastern Clinical Research, a division of Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, is primarily involved in the performance of clinical drug trials. These trials test the safety and efficiacy of new drugs, which are being developed for the treatment of a wide range of digestive diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease and advances in gastrointestinal endoscopy.

Our Center is supervised by board certified gastroenterologists and has a full-time staff of trained and certified clinical research coordinators who participate in continuing education programs in order to maintain our high standards. Many of our physicians have been leading principal investigators in major trials conducted both nationally and internationally.

Our research facilities, located at our Crawford Long and Saint Joseph's locations, are fully equipped and computerized to insure the accuracy of data collection and to maintain a patient database for future clinical trials. All studies are FDA approved and monitored by the regulatory divisions of the pharmaceutical industry.

We are currently conducting trials on inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome and Hepatitis C. For more information about on-going research protocols, call 404.257.9000.
