Sumalatha Satoor M.D.

Portrait: 

A native of India, Dr. Satoor earned a degree in biology from L.A.G.J. College in Machilipatnam, India and then received her medical degree from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India. After an internship at Government General Hospital in Guntur, India, Dr. Satoor came to the U.S. and completed her medical residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2000, she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

Dr. Satoor is a member of the Indian Medical Council, the American College of Physicians and the American Gastroenterology Association. Dr. Satoor joined the Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2002.
