Rachel C. Toney M.D.

Dr. Toney received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The following year, she worked in the Emergency Department of the Nashville Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center.
During her fellowship in gastroenterology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Toney co-authored articles published in Practical Gastroenterology, as well as Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She also served on the Governing Board of the Pennsylvania Society of Gastroenterology.
She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Toney joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2010.
