During his career, Dr. LeVine has been actively involved in clinical research, serving as principal investigator for more than 40 studies covering every facet of gastroenterological diseases. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and the American Gastrointestinal Associates.

A magna cum laude graduate of Yeshiva University, Dr. Levitt received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York. He completed both his internship and residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Following a year as chief resident at Frankford-Torresdale Hospital of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, he returned to Temple University Hospital, where he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology.
During his fellowship, Dr. Levitt participated in a number of research projects and during his career, has had several papers published in gastroenterology journals.
He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Levitt joined the practice in 2007 and sees patients at the Decatur location.
Following graduation from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Longacre attended medical school at the State University of New York HSC Brooklyn, where she graduated magna cum laude. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident.
While attending medical school, she received the Harold A. Lyons Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine and the Dr. Lowell E. Bellin Award for Excellence in Preventive Medicine and Community Health.
During her fellowship in digestive diseases at Yale New Haven Hospital, she co-authored several papers which were published in Hepatology, The American Journal of Gastroenterology and the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology, and presented abstracts at national meetings. Dr. Longacre is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and the American Gastroenterological Association. She is Adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine where she regularly lectures to medical residents. Her particular areas of interest include acute and chronic liver disease, colon cancer screening and management of women's gastroenterological issues.

After graduating from the University of Georgia in Athens, Dr. Lyday attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where he received his medical degree. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Carolinas Medical Center at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, and completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Nebraska in Omaha.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the John B. Graham Research Society at the University of North Carolina. He serves as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lyday joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2001 and sees patients at the Woodstock and Kennestone (Marietta) locations.
Dr. Martínez is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Florida, where he also received his medical degree. After completing his residency and internship in internal medicine, he went on to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology at USF. He then completed advanced training fellowships in hepatology and transplant hepatology at the University of Miami, Division of Hepatology under the guidance of Dr. Eugene R. Schiff, one of the world's foremost hepatologists.
His academic positions include Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of South Florida, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University, Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami, and Assistant Clinical Professor at Emory University. He also has served as Chief of the Gastroenterology Section at Tampa General Hospital, Medical Director of the Adult Liver Transplant Unit at Emory University Hospital, Associate Medical Director at the University of Miami | Jackson Memorial Hospital Liver Transplant, and Associate Medical Director for the University of Miami Hepatology Lab.
He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the American Medical Association, the American Gastroenterology Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Southern Medical Association, and the American Association for Study of Liver Diseases.
Dr. Martínez has been widely published in both textbooks and peer reviewed journals and is a noted lecturer on liver disease, liver transplantation and hepatitis. He serves as director of Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates' Liver Center and sees patients at the Emory Crawford Long location.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the State University at Buffalo in New York, Dr. Morris also received his medical degree from the University. Following his internship and residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Dr. Morris completed a fellowship in digestive diseases at the University of Miami. He also holds a juris doctorate from the Georgia State University College of Law.
Dr. Morris is a member of numerous professional associations including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Gastroenterology Association, the Medical Association of Atlanta, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Georgia Gastrointestinal Society. He is past president of the Georgia Gastrointestinal Society and previously served as chief of staff at Emory Crawford Long Hospital.
Dr. Morris is a clinical associate professor with the Emory University School of Medicine and currently serves as CEO of Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates.

Dr. Nesmith received his B.S. in biology from the University of South Florida in Tampa and received his medical degree from the University of South Florida School of Medicine. He completed both his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the Emory University School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Fellow in gastroenterology.
He has made several presentations at conferences for both the American College of Gastroenterology and during Digestive Disease Week, and has co-authored research on screening colonoscopies and the liver.

Dr. Osborn is a summa cum laude graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., where he also attended medical school. Following his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz., he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
While in Rochester, Dr. Osborn earned a master’s degree in clinical science and research with a specialty concentration in noninvasive methods of colon cancer screening in average risk patients and inflammatory bowel disease. He has additional special interest and training in familial colon cancer syndromes and genetic counseling.
In 2005, Dr. Osborn was named International Health Professional of the Year by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England, for outstanding contributions to medicine. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Prior to joining Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2007, Dr. Osborn was a staff gastroenterologist in Omaha, Neb. He sees patients at the Douglasville and Hiram locations.
Dr. Parikh received his medical degree from Shah Medical College in Jamnagar, India, and completed his internship at BJ Medical College. He then completed a residency in pediatrics at Shah Medical College, where he was chief resident. He also served as chief resident during his residency in internal medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center at New York University School of Medicine, where he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology.
Dr. Parikh is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

A native of North Carolina, Dr. Quinn received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received the NIEHS Intramural Research Training Award and the Burroughs Wellcome Summer Research Fellowship. He completed his internship/residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Quinn returned to Columbus, where he served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of Endoscopy. During his appointments there, Dr. Quinn served on a number of collegiate/medical center committees. He was an invited lecturer on a variety of gastrointestinal topics.
Dr. Quinn is trained in both diagnostic and advanced therapeutic endoscopic techniques including ERCP.

Dr. Rosenberg is a graduate of Tufts University in Medford, Mass., where he received his bachelor's degree in biology. He later earned a master's degree in physiology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. After receiving his medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences at The Chicago Medical School, Dr. Rosenberg completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Boston Medical Center at Boston University. He then completed a fellowship in digestive diseases at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Rosenberg previously served as a staff physician at East Boston Neighborhood Medical Center and at the Atlanta Veterans' Administration Medical Center.

Dr. Salzberg is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the State University of Buffalo in New York and began his medical training at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, N.Y. After completing his training in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla., he completed fellowships in gastroenterology at Washington, D.C. Veterans Administration Hospital, George Washington University Hospital and at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
With a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, Dr. Salzberg has lectured internationally on the subject and has appeared as a medical expert on both national television and radio programs. In 1996, Dr. Salzberg was appointed to the Olympic medical support group for the Atlanta Games and served as a volunteer for the Para-Olympic Games later that year.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Liver Foundation. He also is a member of the Crohn's Colitis Foundation of America and has served on its board of trustees and medical advisory committee.
In addition to his regular practice, Dr. Salzberg serves as medical director of Southeastern Clinical Research, a division of Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, and one of the largest gastroenterological research divisions in the southeast.
Dr. Salzberg joined the practice in 1992 and sees patients at the Saint Joseph's (Sandy Springs) and North Fulton locations.
A native of India, Dr. Satoor earned a degree in biology from L.A.G.J. College in Machilipatnam, India and then received her medical degree from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India. After an internship at Government General Hospital in Guntur, India, Dr. Satoor came to the U.S. and completed her medical residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2000, she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
Dr. Satoor is a member of the Indian Medical Council, the American College of Physicians and the American Gastroenterology Association.
Dr. Satoor joined the Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2002 and sees patients in the Stockbridge and Fayetteville locations.
A graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. Shaw received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He then began his military service, completing his internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, as well as his fellowship in gastroenterology. Dr. Shaw served as staff internist at the Frankfurt Army Regional Medical Center in Germany and chief of gastrointestinal diagnostic services at the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado.
After completing his service in the Army, Dr. Shaw came to Atlanta where he has been in private practice since 1986. He served as the chief of gastroenterology at St. Joseph's Hospital and was chairman of St. Joseph's Hospital Department of Medicine for five years. He previously served as assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of Colorado and presently serves in the same capacity at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Shaw is the recipient of several honors, including the Army Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal. He also has been named one of Atlanta's "Top Doctors" by Atlanta magazine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.

Dr. Sunshine holds both a B.S. and an M.S. in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He received a masters degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown Univeristy in Washington, D.C., before receiving his medical degree there. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Gastroenterology Association.
Dr. Sunshine joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 1986 and sees patients at the Piedmont Hospital (Buckhead) location.
Dr. Talapaneni is a graduate of N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Kurnool (India) Medical College, where she received degrees in medicine and surgery. During medical school, she received the award for the best medical student in school health and was named the best student in her graduating class.
Prior to completing her residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, she served as a research assistant in the Division of Gastroenterology at the Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Kansas Medical Center Program in Kansas City.
Dr. Talapaneni is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association and has had several abstracts published. She has a special interest in inflammatory bowel and biliary diseases, as well as management of women's gastrointestinal issues.

Dr. Wolf is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He completed medical school, as well as his internship and residency at the West Virginia School of Medicine in Morgantown. Following completion of a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, Dr. Wolf joined the faculty at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta as senior associate of medicine in digestive diseases and was later named assistant professor of medicine for digestive diseases. He presently serves on the visiting faculty at the Annenberg Medical Center.
Dr. Wolf is an active member of many professional organizations and holds several leadership and committee appointments. He is a member of the American Gasroenterologic Association, the American Collge of Physicians, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the Georgia Gastroenterologic and Endoscopic Society, the American Federation for Clinical Research, and the American Medical Association.
